The San Mateo Police Department advises you to AVOID El Camino Real and 17 Ave in all directions due to a traffic congestion. A big rig lost it's trailer in the middle of the intersection of El Camino and 17th Ave causing significant traffic backups and other issues in ALL directions. Use alternate routes. SMPD will update when the roadway is clear.
