The Ocean Gate Police Department would like to remind residents and visitors of the annual 4th of July Parade. The Parade is being held Monday, July 4th at 10 am. Registration will be held at Adrian Hall on E. Cape May Ave from 8 am-945am.  Games to follow at Wildwood Beach.

Road Closures are as follows.

• E. Cape May and E. Arverne from OG Ave to Wildwood Ave will be closed starting around 8 am. 
• W. Cape May and W. Arverne will close at 9 am for emergency vehicle parking for the parade.
• By 9:55 am all streets that cross Ocean Gate Ave will be closed at Ocean Gate Ave.
• By 10 am all Cross streets that cross E. Bayview between Ocean Gate Ave and Monmouth will be closed. 
• by 10:05 am all cross streets between E. Lakewood Ave between Monmouth and Wildwood will be closed. 

Wildwood Ave at E. Longport may be closed or heavily congested following the parade for an extended period of time. 

DETOUR.

Any residents or members of the public looking to get around the parade shall do the following. 

From the West
Take Ocean Gate Drive to Louis Ave (Berkeley Twp). Take Louis Ave to Anglesea Ave, Anglesea Ave to E. Arverne. 

From the East.
Take E. Bayview to Narragansette Ave. Take Narragansette Ave to E. Arverne. Take E. Arverne to Anglesea Ave then Anglesea to Louis Ave. 

ONCE THE PARADE STARTS NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE PARADE ROUTE OR TO CROSS THE ROAD CLOSURES. PLAN AHEAD!!!!!
