Man suffers cardiac arrest while working at local school
On July 3rd, 2022 at 7:07 AM, police and EMS were dispatched to #52 Readington Road, the Holland Brook School, for a male on the roof of the building having difficulty breathing. The patient, a 53 year old male, was working on the building when he was stricken and had been lowered to the ground prior to the officers arriving. Sgt. Rindock was the first officer on scene and found the patient to be in cardiac arrest. CPR was performed and an AED was utilized by responding officers. Care was eventually turned over to the Whitehouse Rescue Squad and paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center. The patient had regained pulses and was breathing prior to being transported to Hunterdon Medical Center.
