* WHAT...Heat index values up to 106.

* WHERE...Portions of western and southern Iowa.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses to occur.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out
of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young
children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles
under any circumstances.

Instructions:

Stay inside in the air conditioning, stay hydrated, bring in pets, if outside stay in the shade and take frequent breaks. Check on neighbors and share your air.
