TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced for Drive-Up and Go Food Distribution - Wednesday, July 6, 2022 
Newark Interim Public Safety Director Raul Malave announces that the following streets will be closed during the below designated hours due to the City of Newark’s Drive Up and Go Food Distribution event:
Beginning at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Wednesday, July 6, 2022
Mt. Prospect Avenue between 3rd Avenue and Abington Avenue
The food drive begins at 11 a.m. and will be held at Mt. Prospect Avenue and 2nd Avenue.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Malave thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal activities to call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
