Please be advised that construction at the Municipal Recreation Complex behind the high school will need to start in the early morning tomorrow, July 8th, at approximately 3 AM to accommodate the pouring of the sand infill for the new turf field. 

The good news is that upgrades to the track, turf and lighting at the Recreation Complex are moving forward on schedule with the expectation that we will be open in September. To date, the asphalt has been laid for the new track and the turf has been installed. The next step is pouring of the sand infill, which needs to be done in cooler temperatures to ensure a tight and wrinkle free turf surface in the long-term. The contractor has assured us they will do all they can to keep the noise to a minimum. 

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and want to thank everyone for their support and patience as we round the corner on completion of an important community project.
