On 07-07-2022 around 7:15 p.m., the Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit served search warrants at 2 apartments at 2323 Harvard Dr.  The search warrants were a part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of narcotics in that area.  
 
One of the apartments was occupied by Johntile Alexander.  Johntile was arrested for 5 counts of Delivery of Cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, 5 counts of Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 
 
The other apartment was occupied by Marcellous Wright.  Marcellous was observed leaving the apartment prior to the search warrant and was taken into custody during a traffic stop.  Marcellous was arrested for 3 counts of Delivery of Cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, 3 counts of Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
 
Johntile and Marcellous were held at the Rock County Jail awaiting their initial court appearance.
