Armed Robbery at Rite Aid on 7/9/22 (see social media for video)
ARMED ROBBERY RITE AID
REPORT NUMBER: 22-2984
On July 9th, 2022 at approximately 6:00 AM, Culver City Police officers received call for service of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Rite Aid, located at 3802 Culver Center. When officers arrived at the location, they met with the victim, who was a Rite Aid employee. The victim advised officers that the suspect approached her while she was standing behind the cash register, with multiple items in his hands. The suspect then pulled out a black handgun, placed the gun on the counter, and demanded cash from the register. Fearing for her life, the victim complied. The suspect then exited the store and ran northbound, toward Venice Blvd. Officers conducted an area check, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Officers obtained surveillance footage of the incident and identified multiple pieces of evidence at the scene.
