Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 7/10/22 at 1717 hours, the Cass County Sheriff's Office was called to investigate a personal injury traffic crash that occurred on Morton St near Glenwood Rd., in Wayne Township, Cass County, Michigan. 38-year-old Dowagiac resident, Daniel Simpson, and his son, 9-year-old Aidan Simpson were traveling westbound on Morton St. when he lost control of the motorcycle negotiating a curve. Mr. Simpson and his son were transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo for non life threatening injuries. Helmets were worn. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor. This case remains under investigation. Assisting were Wayne Township Fire Department and Pride Care Ambulance.
