Cinnaminson Residents, 

Overnight, 07/10/2022 to 07/11/2022 between the hours of approximately 2300-0200, car burglars were operating in Cinnaminson Township in the area of the Smethwycke Neighborhood. Cinnaminson Police officers on patrol detected the burglars and interrupted them in the act. Officers gave chase and were able to apprehend one of the suspects involved. At least one subject evaded police and has not yet been identified.  

The Cinnaminson Police are aware of multiple residents in the area that were victimized and we ask that anyone who is able to provide information or relevant surveillance camera footage reach out to the Cinnaminson Police Department. Please check your vehicles and ensure that nothing is out of place or was stolen from the vehicle overnight. 
With regard to this case, police are interested in a red cellular phone (iPhone) in a clear case. This phone is likely outside in the neighborhood, or could possibly be inside of one of the burglarized vehicles. If seen or located, please contact police utilizing the contact information provided below. 

Additionally, remember to close all vehicle windows and lock doors. Generally, subjects involved in this type of activity are not interested in taking the time to force entry. These subjects regularly check door handles and will often times move on if met with a locked vehicle.
