Investigators Searching for Suspect in San Bernardino Homicide

LOCATION: 24700 block of Monterey Avenue, San Bernardino
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): Martin Murillo, 53-year-old Resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: On Saturday, July 9, 2022, deputies were dispatched for a welfare check in the 24700 block of Monterey Avenue, in San Bernardino. Deputies arrived and located Martin Murillo unresponsive in the street, suffering from an injury to his abdomen. Murillo was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators with Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division-Homicide Detail responded and are conducting the investigation. The suspect has not been identified, as of the time of this press release.
