Forest City Police arrest suspect for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. 
On Monday July 11, 2022 officers of the Forest City Police Department along with Forest City Fire Department and Rutherford County EMS responded to Oldcastle Lane in reference to shots fired and subjects struck. Upon arrival, two victims were located and both had gunshot wounds. Both were transported by EMS for treatment. Officers arrested and charged Jorey Edward Harris with 2 counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
