Verizon 5K Road Race scheduled for 6pm tomorrow. Expect traffic delays in Mills St area until 9pm. 
On Thursday, July 14th, the streets of Morristown will once again host the Verizon Corporate 5K Challenge road race. This event will start and end at Morristown High School on Early Street with road closures beginning as early as 4:30pm. The race is scheduled to start at 6:00pm and will be completed by 9:00pm.
Police Officers will be stationed along the route to assist with road closures and detours but motorists are urged to avoid the area or plan alternate routes as traffic congestion is possible. This event will travel along the following roads:
