Due to the lack of precipitation and steady heat the township water system is struggling to keep up with current water demands. The wells that fill the water storage tanks are not getting the adequate rest they need overnight when the demand is supposed to be at the lowest. A TIER 1 WATER RESTRICTION  will be going into effect on Friday, July 15 2022. Please visit the Township of Mahwah website at www.mahwahtwp.org for the details on Tier 1 Water Restrictions.
