This is our second weekly newsletter, which includes the weekly COVID-19 update that is much easier to write than the consecutive daily updates over the past 28 months. For another week, relevant COVID-19 data has slightly ticked up in our community, a bit more in the State, and even more at the national level. In response to the spreading new Omicron variant, the FDA and CDC are considering universal eligibility for the second booster.
This newsletter also provides updates about construction projects including sidewalks, roundabouts, and the new EMS station. We also plan to announce soon the contract for the renovation of the Guilderland Performing Arts Center, including terraced seating levels, new sound and lighting systems, new hiking trails at Nott Road Park and Tawasentha Park, and a new playground, signage, backstop, and bathroom at Abele Park.
