Residential Burglary Investigation Leads to the Arrest of Two Suspects in Apple Valley

LOCATION: 20000 Block of Thunderbird Road in the Town of Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Jasmine Monique Augustus, a 30-year-old resident of Adelanto
Kyiome Yvonne Martin, 40-year-old resident of Adelanto
VICTIM(S): Multiple
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at approximately 8:58 a.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in the 20000 block of Thunderbird Road in the Town of Apple Valley.
The caller reported seeing two females entering a residence and loading items into their vehicle. Upon arrival, a witness provided deputies with a description of both females and the vehicle. Deputy Mammolito searched the area and located the vehicle and one of the suspects, later identified as Jasmine Augustus.
During a vehicle search, Mammolito located the property stolen from the residence and stolen mail belonging to numerous victims. Augustus was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for burglary and is being held in lieu of $100,000.
Through investigation, the second suspect was identified as convicted felon Kyiome Yvonne Martin, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
On July 13, 2022, Deputy Flores with the Apple Valley Station located and arrested Martin. She was transported and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for burglary and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
