Press Release: Subject arrested for Bias Intimidation, Terroristic Threats and Harassment

ACCUSED: Nicholas Skirvin, Age 44, Denville, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On July 15, 2022 at approximately 1pm, Ptl Jon Losquadro was dispatched to the Lawrence Ave Synagogue for a report of a subject screaming obscenities at congregants. Officers responded to the scene and interviewed the victims and learned that the accused had made several terroristic threats that were bias in nature. Following further investigation, the accused was located on the 4th Ave beach in Asbury Park and was arrested by Deal officers.
The accused was transported to Deal Police Headquarters for processing and charging. The accused was charged with 2nd degree Bias Intimidation, 3rd degree Terroristic Threats and Harassment. In accordance with bail reform guidelines the accused was committed to Monmouth County Jail pending a detention hearing.
The Deal Police Department would like to thank the Denville and Asbury Park Police Departments as well as the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office for their assistance in apprehending the accused.
