At Elizabethtown Gas, we’re continually improving the natural gas system that brings safe, reliable, affordable natural gas to our customers. We wanted to make you aware that our qualified contractor, Skoda Contracting, is upgrading the natural gas system in your area.
Please note that due to a request from the Department of Transportation (DOT), Elizabethtown Gas is conducting this construction in the project area during the evening and overnight hours. We realize that construction activities at night can be an inconvenience and we will do our best to keep you informed about the process.
Here is what you can expect during the evening and overnight construction in your area:
• Work in the project area is estimated to take place on Friday, July 29, 2022
(weather permitting)
• Potential loud noise from construction work during the hours of 7:30pm to
8:00am
• Directly affected streets: St. Georges Avenue and Summit Terrace
• Limited street parking
• Potential traffic impacts
• Presence of heavy equipment
• Bright lights from light towers
