POWER OUTAGE UPDATE: Power Restored to City 
An incident at the Tonkawa Power Substation caused a city-wide power outage, last night. The duration of the power outage lasted overnight into the early morning hours. However, crews from OMPA, OG&E, and the Tonkawa Public Works Department worked hard to restore power. Crews are reporting that the problem has been fixed and power has been restored to Tonkawa. Please contact the Tonkawa Police Department at (580)628-2516 to advise if your power has not be restored. Check on elderly friends and family to make sure they are ok.
