* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest North Carolina, including the following counties, Cherokee and Clay.
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 853 AM EDT, Gauge reports indicated between 4 and 8.5 inches of rain fell last night near Marble. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Andrews, Murphy and Marble. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
