The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Butler County in south central Alabama... Monroe County in south central Alabama... Eastern Escambia County in south central Alabama... Southern Wilcox County in south central Alabama... Conecuh County in south central Alabama... Western Covington County in south central Alabama...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 932 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles southeast of Yellow Bluff to 7 miles west of McKenzie to 9 miles northwest of Dozier, moving south at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Greenville, Monroeville, Brewton, Evergreen, Camden, Frisco City, Peterman, East Brewton, Georgiana, McKenzie, River Falls, Castleberry, Excel, Red Level, Beatrice, Vredenburgh, Repton, Yellow Bluff, Pine Apple and Riverview.

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
