On July 22, 2022, the Mercersburg Police Department filed 1 count each of Criminal Conspiracy (F-3), Burglary (F-2), Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F-3), Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (F-3), and Criminal Mischief against the above three listed defendants in the Office of District Judge EYER’s office, 20 Veterans Way, Mercersburg, PA.
Defendant SHEROD acted as the lookout as DORMAN & BRITTON broke into the Pharmacy.
Criminal Arrest warrants were obtained on all three defendants and will be forwarded to the Franklin County District Attorney’s Office in Chambersburg, PA. The District Attorney will forward detainers on the three defendants to the Wicomico County Corrections in Salisbury Maryland.
The three defendants were lodged in that facility after being arrested by the Maryland State Police and Salisbury Police in the act of burglarizing a pharmacy in Salisbury, Maryland during the early morning hours of April 12, 2022.
The Howard County Maryland Police Department, Commercial Property Crimes Unit, the Howard County Maryland Repeat Offender Proactive Enforcement Unit (ROPE), and the Louisa County Virginia Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation.
SUMMARY OF INITIAL REPORT OF CRIME:
This crime occurred on Friday, April 1, 2022, about 3:12 a.m. Burglars pried open the two sets of front doors to the Pharmacy with a large pry bar. Two actors wearing dark clothing and a ski mask covering most of their face entered the pharmacy and stole $500 worth of prescription medication, $1,600 worth of cash & checks and did about $1,200 damage to the front doors of the pharmacy TOTAL $3,300.
