INCIDENT: Nicotine Decoy Operation
LOCATION: Running Springs, Lake Arrowhead, Blue Jay and Crestline
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, deputies assigned to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Twin Peaks Station conducted a decoy operation at vape shops located within the Twin Peaks Station jurisdiction which resulted in three arrests.
On Thursday, July 21, 2022 , deputies from the Twin Peaks Station conducted a follow-up decoy operation at multiple vape shops within the Twin Peaks Station jurisdiction. All businesses contacted complied with both state and federal laws. There were no arrests made during the operation.
