NJFFS is working on a brush fire Update 
Crews are continuing to work on the fire off of Ridgeview Ave. It is under control and there is no threat to any structures. Use caution in the area to keep the crews on location safe
The fire has been held at 7 acres and is not spreading. The NJFFS will be there until dark and then will return in the morning to take care of any hot spots. There may be smoke in the area.
Ridgeview Ave is open. Please use caution in the area because crews are still working
Update: PTFD currently assisting the New JerseyForestfire Service at a wildland fire on Ridgeview. Currently New Jersey forest fire crews are continuing backfiring operations, there is no immediate danger to any structures there is smoke in the area use caution
Ridgeview Ave is being closed between Junction Rd and Lakehurst Rd
NJFFS is working a 10 acre brush fire behind the Browns Mills Arms Apts. There are no structures in danger and no evacuations needed. There will be smoke in the area.
