* Until 1145 PM EDT.

* At 1059 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast of Marion, or 7 miles south of Lake James State Park, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include... Glen Alpine, Casar, Lake James State Park, South Mountains State Park, Nebo, Glenwood, Sunshine, Union Mills, Fero and Dysartsville.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
