Update from Mayor Bhalla on COVID-19 (7/24): Vaccination/booster clinic Monday for ages 3+, Thursday ages 6 months and up
Below is an update on COVID-19 from Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla.
Vaccine/ booster clinics Monday and Thursday
The City’s COVID-19 vaccine clinics at 605 Jackson St, made possible through partnerships with Medicine Man Pharmacy & Compounding and the Hudson Regional Health Commission, have appointments available.
Medicine Man Pharmacy & Compounding will offer Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and boosters on Monday, July 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The clinic will offer Moderna pediatric vaccines to children between the ages of 3 – 5 years old, Pfizer vaccines to those 3 years old and older, Moderna and Pfizer boosters to those 5 years old and older, and Moderna vaccines to those 18 years old and older.
Appointments are required. To make an appointment go to www.hobokennj.gov/vaccine.
The Hudson Regional Health Commission will offer vaccines and boosters to all eligible age groups on Thursday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Appointments are preferred but not required, as walk-ins will be accepted.

Please note, some of the above cases reflect backlogged reporting via the lab.
There have been a total of 13,180 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hoboken and 65 fatalities since the pandemic began. Hoboken University Medical Center is not currently treating anyone with COVID-19.
Update from the Hoboken Health Department
- The Hoboken Health Department is investigating cases on a priority basis: 18 years of age and under, at high risk, and over 65 years old.
- Cases are associated with community widespread in schools, daycare, social gatherings, travel, and work.
- Our regional COVID Activity Level Index (CALI) score is currently “High Risk.”

The state has not provided municipalities with booster numbers.
