Advisory

An important safety message to car show and cruise night participants.

To our Cruiser Friends participating in the Hatboro Chamber of Commerce Cruise Nights. The Chamber of Commerce and the Hatboro Police Department have pledged to provide safe, family friendly events throughout the year. We will always stress public safety over anything else when planning and executing our public events.

Last Friday, during our third of five planned Cruise Nights, there were several occasions when our Police Department needed to address disorderly conduct (burn outs), high speeds and unsafe driving on York Road.. Our Police officers were warning others to stay within the rules of the Cruise.

The rules of the Cruise are:
There are to be, NO BURNOUTS, DONUTS or SPEEDING.
These rules apply to the conclusion of Moonlight Memories Car show as well.  Avoid costly citations and points on your driver's license - obey the law!

Simply put, the offenders will put an end to these popular events with behavior which is unsafe, illegal and negligent. This Saturday is the 29th Annual Moonlight Memories Car Show and our next Cruise Night is Friday, August 18th. Let’s plan on two great nights of cars, friends and family. Please consider the safety of your fellow cruisers, their families and our neighbors in the town of Hatboro. Drive responsibly so that we can continue with the fun.
