Shooting/Attempt Murder at 1400 Hwy 101, Aromas 
On 7/24/22, at approximately 9:15 pm, an adult male called in to dispatch to advise he had just been shot by an unknown person. A second caller reported hearing 3 gunshots in the area of the Monterey RV Park at 1400 Hwy 101, in Aromas.
As of the time of this release, there is no suspect information or anything to suggest this victim was an intended target.
The male suffered one non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Approximately 4-hours prior to the shooting, the male victim was involved in a verbal altercation with a subject in a dark Chevy pickup with mud-tires and black rims.
As of this release it is unknown if that confrontation has anything to do with this shooting. Our Detectives are following up on the case and we will release further information if and when it is available.
