It's HOT - Be safe out there!
Extreme temps are expected most of the week! If you can, avoid spending prolonged amounts of time outside during afternoon peak heat times. Be sure to drink plenty of water, and bring it with you if you go out. Make sure children, elderly, and pets have sufficient water available.
The Community Center (107 N Main St.) is an established cooling center for anybody needing to get out of the heat and cool off in the A/C for a bit. They have wifi available and will remain open each day until 7pm through Friday.
Remember your fur-babies - PLEASE do not leave pets in vehicles. On hot days, the interior temperature of a car can become deadly very quickly and cracking a window doesn't cut it! (This goes for infants, small children, or anybody who is unable to help themselves to safety)
