* At 816 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported multiple cars stuck in flooded waters near the intersection of English Creek Ave and US Route 40. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Atlantic City, Pleasantville, Brigantine, Northfield, Absecon, Estell Manor, Port Republic, Pomona, and Mays Landing. This includes the following highways... Garden State Parkway between mile markers 34 and 44. Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 2 and 13.
