* Flash Flood Warning for... Clinton County in south central Illinois... Washington County in south central Illinois...

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 419 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar.

Instructions:

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Breese, New Baden, Carlyle, Nashville, Trenton, Aviston, Okawville, St. Rose, Germantown, Albers, Wamac, Beckemeyer, Lively Grove, Irvington, Ashley, Shattuc, Jamestown, New Memphis, Boulder and Bartelso. This includes the following State Parks... Carlyle Lake Recreational Area. This includes the following highways... Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 34 and 61.
