The Escondido Police Department will celebrate the 38^th Annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 2^nd, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the East Valley Community Center, 2245 E. Valley Pkwy. National Night Out is an opportunity for citizens across America to send a powerful message about the importance of neighborhood unity, awareness, safety and police-community partnerships.
We invite you, your family and friends for a free evening of entertainment and fun for all.  Some of the children’s activities will include fingerprinting, face painting, a bike rodeo (must bring bicycle/scooter and helmet) and interactive displays at various booths. Community organizations will be on hand to provide information and resources on crime prevention, drug and violence prevention, education, and health and safety. Law enforcement and fire department vehicles will be on display, along with a police canine demonstration. Throughout the evening free opportunity drawings will be held.

El Departamento de Policía de Escondido celebrará la 38.ª Noche Nacional Anual Contra el Crimen el martes 2 de agosto de 5 a 8 p.m. en el Centro Comunitario de East Valley, 2245 E. Valley Parkway.  El evento de National Night Out es una oportunidad para que los ciudadanos de todo Los Estados Unidos envíen un poderoso mensaje sobre la importancia de la unidad del vecindario, la conciencia, la seguridad y las asociaciones entre la policía y la comunidad.
Te invitamos a ti, a tu familia y amigos a una noche gratis de entretenimiento y diversión para todos. Algunas de las actividades de los niños incluirán toma de huellas dactilares, pintura de caras, un rodeo de bicicletas (debe traer bicicleta/scooter y casco) y exhibiciones interactivas en varios puestos. Las organizaciones comunitarias estarán disponibles para brindar información y recursos sobre prevención del crimen, prevención de drogas y violencia, educación y salud y seguridad. Se exhibirán vehículos de la policía y del departamento de bomberos, junto con una demostración canina de la policía. A lo largo de la noche se realizarán sorteos de oportunidad gratuitos.
