* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including the following counties, in west central Virginia, Alleghany VA. In southeast West Virginia, Greenbrier and Summers.
* WHEN...Until 730 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 238 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Boggs Run, Big Run, Anthony Creek, Beaver Creek, Beech Run, Brushy Lick, Big Clear Creek, Boggs Creek, Burdette Creek, Cold Knob Fork, Boulder Run and Burns Run. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lewisburg...
