INCIDENT: PC 273.5(a) Felony Spousal Abuse
LOCATION: Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): William Thompson, 33-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at approximately 9:00 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a report of an assault. Through investigation, it was determined William Thompson assaulted the victim during an argument, leaving the victim with multiple injuries.
Suspect Thompson was consequently arrested for PC 273.5(a), Felony Spousal Abuse. Thompson was transported to the High Desert Detention Center for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
