ARREST: Santa Rosa Man Arrested for Narcotics Trafficking & Felony Child Endangerment

In early July of 2022, detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department’s Narcotics Team initiated an investigation into narcotics trafficking by a Sonoma County resident.  It was learned through the investigation that Francisco Sandoval-Garcia, a 32-year-old Santa Rosa resident, was selling large amounts of methamphetamine in the City of Santa Rosa and surrounding communities.
On Tuesday, July 26th, 2022, at 5:00 pm, detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department Narcotics Team contacted and detained Sandoval-Garcia during a traffic stop near the intersection of Mission Blvd and Highway 12. Sandoval-Garcia was found to be in possession of over a quarter pound of methamphetamine.
Following the traffic stop, a search warrant was served at his residence, in the 6600-block of Montecito Blvd. At the residence, SRPD detectives contacted Sandoval-Garcia’s girlfriend, two children (ages 2 and 6-years-old.), and an infant (one-month-old).  A search of the residence was conducted and approximately 3 pounds of methamphetamine was located on an attached patio, accessible to the children, and where the children played with their toys. Items indicative of drug sales were also located inside the residence.  These items included packaging material, cell phones, scale, and cash.
Sandoval-Garcia was later transported and booked at the Sonoma Jail for narcotics trafficking of methamphetamine and felony child endangerment.
