On July 27, 2022, officers from the Cloquet Police Department and the Fond du Lac Police Department, along with members of the Cloquet Area Fire District, responded to a report of an apparent overdose at a residence on Loop Drive in the City of Cloquet within the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation. Efforts to revive the individual were unsuccessful.  A 16-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.  The exact cause of death is not known at this time. 
 
This is an open and active investigation.  If anyone has any information that could assist in this investigation, please contact the Cloquet Police Department.
