* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east Tennessee, including the following county, Johnson. Portions of southwest Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, City of Bristol, Russell and Washington.
* WHEN...Until 815 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 514 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms during the past 2 hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.0 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bristol Va, Abingdon, Glade Spring, Damascus, Holston, Hilander Park, Lindell, Emory-Meadow View, Hansonville, Benhams, Collingwood and Konnarock. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
