* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast West Virginia, including the following county, Greenbrier.
* WHEN...Until 1030 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...One lane of U.S. Route 60 remains closed at Rupert due to high water flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 756 AM EDT, Law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area due to excessive runoff from prior heavy rainfall. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Kitchen Creek, Boggs Creek, Eagle Branch, Cold Knob Fork, Improvement Branch, Beaver Creek, Fisher Creek, Fitzwater Branch, Elijah Branch, Laurel Creek, Beech Run, Joe Knob Branch, Burdette Creek, Dry Run and Big Clear Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rainelle, Rupert, Quinwood, Duo, Anjean, Williamsburg and Trout. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
