DETAILS: On Thursday July 28th, at 12:14 AM, Amarillo Police Department officers were dispatched to 1300 Evergreen, Eastridge School Park, on a male subject who had been assaulted at the park. The caller told dispatch that the male was not moving. Medical personnel responded but life saving measures were unsuccessful. Khamphanh Phoummphard, Male, age 53, birthday 06/06/69, was pronounced deceased on scene. Through their investigation, Homicide detectives identified and located a suspect. Adrian Manuel Hinojos, male, age 30, birthday 02/16/1992, was arrested and booked into Potter County Detention Center for Murder. This case is still being investigated by the APD Homicide Unit.
