Deputies Arrest a Man and Woman After Making a Traffic Stop in Apple Valley
DATE/TIME: Wednesday, July 27, 2022, 1:06 a.m.
INCIDENT: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Felon in Possession of a Firearm
LOCATION: Arapahoe Avenue & Quinnault Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Anthony Ruben Arias, a 45-year-old resident of Apple Valley
Andrea Lynn Craig, a 34-year-old resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at approximately 1:06 a.m., deputies with the Apple Valley Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy Avalanche near the intersection of Arapahoe Avenue and Quinnault Road.
The driver of the vehicle, Anthony Arias, was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, and the passenger, Andrea Craig, was found in possession of a loaded firearm.
Arias was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for possession of drug paraphernalia and was cite released. Craig, who ia a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing a firearm, was arrested and booked for felon in possession of a firearm and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
