Hyattsville Police Department National Night Out 
The City of Hyattsville Police Department (HPD) is hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Driskell Park, located at 3911 Hamilton St., Hyattsville. The family-friendly community event will include a DJ, games, a K9 demonstration, an obstacle course, free hot dogs and ice cream, giveaways, and vehicle displays from HPD and the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department.
HPD facility dog K9 Nola will also be on site for a meet-and-greet with children of all ages.
HPD’s Community Action Team (CAT) will also be collecting donated school supplies for students at Hyattsville’s area schools.
