* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest Illinois, including the following counties, Madison and Saint Clair. Portions of east central Missouri, including the following county and independent city, Saint Louis and Saint Louis City.
* WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 544 PM CDT, the public reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall is not expected but flood waters will take time to recede across the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Granite City, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, East St. Louis, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Cahokia and Jennings.
