An arrest has been made in connection to a tree service scam in the Norton Shores area. 
Gary Lee Johnson of JJ Tree Service has been arrested and charged with False Pretenses-$100 or more, Third Offense and Habitual Offender Fourth, in connection to several Norton Shores residents losing money on services promised.
If you have been a victim of Fraud involving JJ Tree Service or Gary Johnson please call your local Police Department to report it.
The Police Department would like to warn home owners to only use reputable tree services when hiring tree cutters. Do your homework before giving money to individuals coming to your door, offering sevices that are too good to be true.
