| The Ventura County Sheriff’s Ojai Valley Police and Sheriff Station is Hosting National Night Out, Tuesday, August 2, 2022 The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Ojai Valley Station will be hosting a National Night Out event in the city of Ojai. Residents of the Ojai Valley are invited to join us at the event in Libbey Park, next to the fountain, between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm for an evening of building community relationships. This community event is an excellent opportunity for residents to meet members from their local Law Enforcement and Fire Departments to ask questions and get an up-close look at some of the vehicles and equipment they utilize to keep us safe. Don’t miss an opportunity to sit behind the wheel of one of our police cars or a Sheriff’s off-road ATV. Members from the Sheriff’s Mounted Enforcement and K9 Units will be present with their four-legged partners ready to meet and greet everyone. Also, members from our local Explorers Post, Volunteers in Policing, and the Ojai Search and Rescue Team will be on hand to answer any questions regarding their programs. Our Kid and Adult Print program will be available at the event. There will be goodies for the kids so please bring the entire family and enjoy a great evening out in our amazing community. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. National Night Out is a chance to bring neighborhoods together with the men and women who protect them. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide.
