US 12 Westbound Closure 
US 12 Westbound will be closed today, August 1st, 2022 through Wednesday 3rd, 2022, for NIPSCO work related to the double track project.
You will be able to take 12 east out of town; however, when returning to town you will need to take the frontage road.
Please notify your guests, contractors, etc. of the temporary change. We will keep you updated of any changes as we recieve information from the crews.
Additionally, northbound 249 is also experiencing traffic backups due to construction. If you can avoid the area around Ameriplex when returning to town, please do so. If you cannot, please expect delays and plan accordingly.
