Tornado Warning until 06:45PM

The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... North central Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Braxton County in north central West Virginia... West central Webster County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 613 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Gassaway, or near Sutton, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Nicholas, southeastern Braxton and west central Webster Counties, including the following locations... Boggs, Diana, Cowen, Little Birch and Erbacon.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BRAXTON, WV ... NICHOLAS, WV ... WEBSTER, WV

Instructions:

This Tornado Warning replaces the Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for the same area. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Charleston West Virginia. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
