Changes in Schools Bell Schedules May Result in Heavy Traffic at Highland and Central Avenues 
For the 2022-23 school year, Duarte High School and CS-Arts - San Gabriel Valley will both have start times of 8:30 AM due to changes in State law (Senate Bill 328) that mandate high schools cannot start any earlier than 8:30 AM.
Be advised that traffic at Highland Avenue and Central Avenue are anticipated to be very busy from about 8 AM to 9 AM, Monday through Friday during the school year. Residents are recommended to avoid the area if possible during those times. The first day of school for Duarte High School and CS-Arts is Wednesday, August 10.
