07/25/2022 @ 1220. The victim was escorting the suspect from the store when he was punched one time on his face by the suspect. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled the area on foot. The victim suffered a cut to his lip and two chipped teeth. #04669

1200 block N Sweetzer Avenue
07/25/2022 @ 2000-0650. An unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 2015 Nissan Van that was parked on the street. #04688

07/25/2022 @ 0100-0105. A man used a trash bin to gain access to an open window and reached into the bedroom and removed a laptop computer and Air Pods. #04670

07/25/2022 @ 0130. The victim was standing on the sidewalk when a man ran up to him, raised his fist, and demanded the victim’s cell phone and he complied. #04665

07/25/2022 @ 1251. While arguing about their pending divorce, the suspect pulled the victim’s cell phone from his hand. A short struggle ensued and the victim fell to the ground after being punched in the groin. #04675

07/22/2022 @ 1700 – 07/26/2022 @ 0732. An unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 2019 Nissan Van that was parked in a parking lot. #04689

07/26/2022 @ 0130. A man pried the front door open to gain entry and removed a stainless steel container containing bacon from the interior. An alarm sounded and the suspect fled the area. #04685

07/26/2022 @ 0957. A man pulled the victim’s phone from his hand during an argument that took place on the sidewalk. The victim was able to regain possession of his phone. #04690

07/26/2022 @ 1708. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed two pairs of sunglasses from the interior. #04680

07/26/2022 @ 0000-0900. An unknown suspect removed one pair of sunglasses and one pair of prescription glasses from the center console. The suspect also removed two tote bags containing paperwork and medical documents from the back seat. No sign of forced entry. #04687

07/26/2022 @ 1708. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a leather bag containing a Louis Vuitton bag, Armani jacket, dress shirt, Cartier bracelet, passport, $1K in cash, and $5K UAE currency. #04702

07/27/2022 @ 1650-1710. The victim was riding his bicycle EB on Santa Monica Blvd when his handle bar collided with the suspect’s bicycle as he was riding in the opposite direction. The victim fell to the ground and was confronted and hit one time on his elbow and lower back with a metal bar by the suspect. #04734

600 block N Robertson Blvd
07/27/2022 @ 2300-0118. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed two Chanel bags and a fanny back from the back seat and a cell phone from the center console. #04742

7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
07/27/2022 @ 0522. A man climbed over a second floor patio gate to gain access to the bar area and smashed the cash register and bar cabinets with a hammer to force them open. A member of the cleaning crew saw the suspect hiding in the bar area and flagged a deputy down as they were driving by the location. The suspect was located and arrested inside the business by responding deputies. #04721

07/28/2022 @ 0336. A man forced the front door open to gain access and removed an IPad from the front counter. #04747

Strong Arm Robbery
8800 block Santa Monica Blvd
07/28/2022 @ 2320. The victim argued and fought with two men while inside the club. Security guards escorted the victim and the suspects outside and they began to fight again. During the fight, the victim was pushed to the ground and his watch and gold ring were taken. #04757

Grand Theft
1000 block Fuller Avenue
07/29/2022 @ 0932. The victim set her phone down on the checkout stand while paying for her groceries and forgot to pick it up when she left the store. Surveillance video showed the person standing in line behind the victim picked up the phone and fled the area on a bicycle. #04768

07/29/2022 @ 1900-0230. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a gym bag containing lifters, knee sleeves, weight belt, gloves, jump robes, and shoes from the front seat. #04813

July 30th

7300 block Santa Monica Blvd
07/30/2022 @ 1030. A man was yelling and making incoherent statements and threats towards people in the park when he armed himself with a crossbow and began walking around in a threatening manner. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #04790

07/30/2022 @ 1800-0800. An unknown suspect removed a rear window screen and forced the window open to gain access and removed a laptop computer from the interior. #04812

Strong Arm Robbery (Estes) (Suspect Arrested)
8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
07/30/2022 @ 1719. A man removed 15 items from display areas and left the store without payment. An employee confronted the suspect in the store parking lot and asked him to return the stolen items. A short struggle ensued and the victim was pushed to the ground. A second employee tried to intervene and was sprayed in the face with pepper spray. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #04796

07/31/2022 @ 0350. A man broke the lockbox open and removed a key and then used the key to gain access to the business. The suspect removed a cashbox containing $100 from the interior. #0482
