Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Bonanza and Poncha Pass. This includes the following high risk locations... Highway 285 south of Poncha Springs to Poncha Pass. This includes the following streams and drainages... San Luis Creek, South Arkansas River, Kerber Creek, Droz Creek, Starvation Creek, Beaver Creek, Brewery Creek, Spring Creek, Silver Creek, Poncha Creek and Little Cochetopa Creek.
