SUSPECT(S): Michael Mario Camacho, 34 year-old resident of Highland.
VICTIM(S): Smart and Final 27550 Baseline Street, City of Highland
Family Dollar 27356 Baseline street, City of Highland
Family Dollar 26554 9th Street, City of Highland
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, deputies from the Highland Station responded to the Smart and Final Market for a report of a vandalism. Through investigation, video surveillance was obtained and the suspect, Michael Camacho, was located and detained. While investigating the vandalism, deputies received a call for service reference a burglary at the Family Dollar on Baseline Street. Through investigation, video surveillance was obtained, and the suspect was identified as Camacho. Based on information gathered from the investigations, Camacho was identified as the suspect in a burglary at the Family Dollar on 9th Street, which occurred on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Camacho was arrested for two counts of burglary and one count of felony vandalism. Camacho was booked into custody at the Central Detention Center.
